In 'Being Me ' a Newsround Special, Millie from 'Millie Inbetween' becomes a Newsround reporter. She asks why our appearance is such a big deal for so many of us.

She says she was self conscious about her developing body when she was dancing and competing in competitions. She says it's only as she got older she learned to be kinder to herself.
The Olympic Gymnast who wasn't always so happy
Hear Olympic gymnast Louis Smith talking about his body image and the issues that concerned him most when he was growing up.
He told the Newsround Special 'Being Me' that he was teased about his long arms when he was younger.
But he learned to use them to his advantage on the pommel horse and is now Britain's greatest ever Olympic gymnast.
The Oscar winning Actress who thought she was unattractive when she was younger
Oscar winning actress Julianne Moore disliked her freckles growing up.
She says when she was younger, she was self conscious about her red hair, pale skin and freckles.
But now she says she's happier with how she looks.
