Andy Murray reaches 500 career wins

Andy Murray has become the first Briton to reach 500 career wins, after defeating Kevin Anderson in the fourth round of the Miami Open.

Murray was presented with a cake after the match and said "I hope I can use this as motivation to win some more and I hope today's match wasn't the last one."

During his 500 wins, Murray has used 12.5 miles of racquet string, drunk 2,000 litres of water and thrown away 2,000 pairs of sweatbands

He becomes the 46th man overall to reach 500 wins.
