Storm Katie batters parts of the UK

This tree was uprooted by the storm in Epsom in Surrey.
Storm Katie has hit parts of England and Wales, bringing strong winds and rain.
The south-east, south-west and east of England have been worst affected, along with south Wales.
Some flights at London's Heathrow and Gatwick have had to be diverted because of the winds.
Roads have been flooded, trees blown over, and power has been cut off in at least 5000 homes.
These pictures show some of the damage caused by the storm.
