Future of Junior Bake Off in doubt

The next series of Junior Bake Off will go ahead as planned this November.

But the BBC has been unable to say what will happen to the show after that.

Bake Off will move to Channel 4

This follows news that Bake Off will move from the BBC to Channel 4 for the next series.

Channel 4 have told Newsround that they will now show all Bake Off programmes including Junior Bake Off, and will make an announcement about them later.

Junior Bake Off is the children's version of the show and this year it was confirmed that the new judge will be the 2015 winner Nadiya Hussain

A BBC Spokesperson told Newsround "The next series of Junior Bake Off will be shown on CBBC in November as planned."

But they weren't able to say what would happen after that.
