Yorkshire pudding is crowned nation's favourite regional food

The Yorkshire pudding has been named the nation's favourite regional dish.
Second place went to cream tea (from Cornwall/Devon), with Cornish pasty (Cornwall), Tikka Masala (Glasgow) and Bakewell tart (Derbyshire) finishing off the top five.
The poll done by Privilege Insurance also found that only half of those who chose the Yorkshire pudding as their favourite actually know how to make it. (So we've included a handy recipe at the bottom of this article, if you'd like to have a go at making them!)
So we want to know, what are your favourite regional dishes? Is there a special delicacy that is particular to the area where you live that you just love to eat? Is there a dish from your area that you really don't like to eat?
Let us know in the comments below!
Everyone has their own way of making Yorkshire puddings, but here's a quick, simple way! Remember to get an adult to help you.
Ingredients: 140g plain flour, 4 eggs, 200ml milk, a bit of sunflower oil
Switch on your oven to heat to 230C/fan 210C/gas 8
Put the flour and eggs into a bowl and beat them into a smooth batter
Gradually add the milk, bit by bit, and keep beating so it's really smooth
Add a bit of salt and pepper to the batter for seasoning
Pour the batter into a jug and then leave it on the side to rest for 30 minutes
Drizzle a little bit of oil into the holes of two muffin trays and put them into the oven to heat through for 10 minutes
Take the trays out of the oven (ask an adult to help you with this as they will be very hot) and pour a small amount of batter into each of the muffin holes, about halfway up
Put the trays back into the oven for 20-25 minutes until the puddings are all puffed and brown. Remember, don't open the oven while they're cooking else they might flatten!
Take them out of the oven when they're puffed up and brown (again, get an adult to help you) and enjoy!
