Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker stamps released

Poe Dameron has been one of the main characters in the last three Star Wars films - he's an X-wing fighter pilot for the Resistance and a big friend of Finn. It was Poe who unknowingly brought Finn and Rey into battle against the First Order in The Force Awakens.
And not only is Poe in the 16-stamp series - but so is his famous X-wing fighter.
This is a brief look at a character we've not seen before - Zorii Bliss. She'll be in The Rise of Skywalker and is a mysterious old friend of Poe's.
Another new character is Jannah, who'll be played by Naomi Ackie in the Rise of Skywalker. We don't know much about her except that she's seems like a fierce freedom fighter.
Again someone we haven't seen on screen yet is this Sith Trooper, they're the next evolution of Imperial or First Order stormtroopers.
This is Queen Amidala, she is the secret wife of Anakin Skywalker and the mother of Luke Skywalker and Leia Organa. She was an important character in The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith.
Wicket W Warrick is a teddy bear-like creature known as an Ewok - we first met these furry creatures in Return of the Jedi.
This landscape-style stamp features two Scout troopers on speeder bikes - another scene from Return of the Jedi.
A famous old face returning for The Rise of Skywalker is Lando Calrissian - Han Solo's old friend and rival. The smuggler used to own Han Solo's famous ship, the Millennium Falcon, and even handed Han over to Darth Vader in The Empire Strikes Back

Time now to have a look at some of the famous baddies whose faces could be on envelopes. This is Grand Moff Tarkin. He was played in the films by British actor Peter Cushing and commands the first Death Star. He died in 1994 and was famously brought back for Rogue One by using groundbreaking special effects.
Count Dooku is a major baddie in the Star Wars prequels, appearing in Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith where he was killed by Anakin Skywalker before he became Darth Vader.
One of the most famous villains from the series is Darth Maul. He's a Sith Lord and is a master wielder of a (pretty cool) red double-bladed lightsabre. We first saw him in The Phantom Menace where he was (seemingly) killed by Obi-Wan Kenobi. In 2018 he made a surprise comeback in the Han Solo film, Solo.
