This pic captured a lovely moment where these two adult red foxes greeting each other with a little romantic nuzzle on Prince Edward Island in Canada. It looks like they're sitting close together to keep warm during a chilly day too. So cute!

Photographer Martin Gregus took this incredible image of a polar bear cub enjoying the sunshine in a beautiful field of flowers. Every so often the cub would take a break from its fun, stand on its back legs and poke its head up above the high flowers to look for its mother. The photographer stood a safe distance away from the bear and waited patiently for him to pop up for a picture!

You may recognise these monkeys from the BBC's His Dark Materials programme... they're two females and a male snub-nosed monkeys huddled together to keep warm in the extreme winter cold. The endangered species live in Central China and are threatened because of the loss of forests. These monkeys live high up in the mountains and eat trees, leaves, bark, buds and a slow growing plant called lichen.

This image is of a snow leopard which the Natural History Museum says are one of the most difficult large cats to photograph in the wild. It's been taken against a beautiful backdrop of some spectacular mountains high up in the Indian Himalayas. Thick snow is on the ground, but the big cat’s thick coat and furry footpads help to keep it nice and warm.
![A frog with big eyes](https://ichef.bbci.co.uk/ace/standard/976/cpsprodpb/8CEA/production/_127847063_jaimeculebraswildlifephotographeroftheyear.jpg)
Look at this little guy with gigantic eyes! The photographer Jaime Culebra thought this Mindo glass frog had the most beautiful ‘ruby’ eyes, so he carefully moved his camera, tripod and flashes to be close enough to capture a close up. These frogs can be found in northwest Ecuador, in the foothills of the Andes mountains. They are endangered because their habitat is being lost to mining and logging, which is the process of cutting down trees for their wood.

This may look like a cute white bunny rabbit, but it is in fact a snowshoe hare resting on a small mound of snow. The hare was spotted by a photographer called Deena Sveinsson, deep in the forests of the Rocky Mountains in the National Park, Colorado.

Claudio Contreras had to lie down in the mud from a safe distance to snap this pic of a colony of American flamingos in a nature reserve in Mexico. The adult birds like to guard their chicks and when the chicks headed towards the photographer, the adults surrounded them and gently guided them back to their colony.

Our last photo is of a female grey wolf trotting along the shoreline on the west coast of Vancouver Island in British Columbia in Canada. She was patrolling her territory when the tide was out and she walked straight past the camera.
