Lewis Hamilton becomes a playable Fortnite character

Record breaking Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton is known for his jazzy outfits... these don't disappoint

Seven-time Formula 1 World Champion Lewis Hamilton is known, among other things, for his adventurous fashion sense.

So it seems only fitting that he should enter the wild world of Fortnite with his very own playable Skin.

The British racing driver has been inducted into the Icons series, joining other sporting legends including footballer Neymar, NFL star Patrick Mahomes and tennis champion Naomi Osaka.

Not only is Hamilton being immortalised in the game, but he will be joined in the Fortnite universe by his loyal pet pup, Roscoe.

The British bull dog is often spotted tagging along to F1 races with Lewis, so it's no surprise he is tagging along on the adventure with his owner.

Digital-Roscoe has even got himself a cool looking outfit and jet-powered surfboard.

The Hamilton Set is due to be released on Friday 17 November for players to use.

New way to report abuse on Fortnite

Epic Games, the creators behind Fortnite have also introduced voice reporting so gamers can flag any behaviour that violates the rules.

The optional system records the last five minutes of your game including any opponent communication.

Users can submit the audio recording to moderators, which they say will help them "take action against players using voice chat to bully, harass, discriminate, or engage in other inappropriate behaviour".

It works by recording audio onto your device, for example, your computer or games console.

You can then send that recording to Epic Games if you think someone is breaking the rules or being abusive.

For players under 18 Epic Games say voice reporting is defaulted to an "on" position. If the player does not wish to have their voice audio captured they can either mute themselves or turn off voice chat entirely in their settings.

There are also controls that are available to parents of young people using Fortnite.
