Politicians 'do listen' to children, says Children's Commissioner
We hear a lot about what politicians think is important, but how often do kids get the chance to share their views with the people in power?
England's Children's Commissioner, Dame Rachel de Souza, believes that children should have the chance to have their voices heard.
Her job is to protect the rights of children in England.
She has launched a survey called The Big Ambition, aimed at all children in England aged 0 to 18 to find out more about what young people care about.
Dame de Souza has promised to take the results of this survey to politicians.
Ricky met with the Commissioner and Year 7 students Retaj, Nafissa and Mohamad at a school in London to find out more.
