In May 2023 the Citizens won the Premier League thanks in no small part to their epic goal machine Erling Haaland. Haaland scored 36 goals in 35 Premier League games as City won their third Premier League on the trot. Can they be the first team ever to make it four in a row?

A sensational volley by Ilkay Gundogan was the highlight as City saw off their local rivals Manchester United to win the FA Cup in June 2023. The City captain sealed his place in history with the quickest goal EVER in an FA Cup final, scoring after only 12 seconds. City went on to win 2-1 with another goal by Gundogan before he left City to join Barcelona at the end of the 2022/2023 season.

There was still another trophy to come in August when Cole Palmer's equaliser for Man City sent their Uefa Super Cup final to penalties. City won the shootout in the game, which sees the Champions League winners play the winners of the Europa League. Cole Palmer also left City in the summer, joining Chelsea.
