If you've got a dog, you'll probably know that sometimes they like to get their paws on things they shouldn't.
Sometimes this can be dangerous for our furry friends and it certainly was the case for Charlie the bichon frisé.
His owners took him to the vet when he became ill and surgery revealed he had swallowed a total of 133 coins.
Matheus Nerone, a vet at Thameswood Vets in Swindon, said: "It was a surprise for everybody."
Charlie was initially given an ultrasound scan that showed there was something in his stomach that shouldn't be.
Vets thought it might have been plastic, but it wasn't until surgery they realised it was an awful lot of coins.
The coins came to the total value of £18.20.
Mr Nerone said they also found some plastic in there too "but the owners had no idea that he had eaten the coins".
How Charlie managed to eat so many coins remains a mystery.
If the coins hadn't been found, they could have caused more serious harm, but Charlies is believed to have made a full recovery.
His owners donated the coins to the PDSA charity that looks after sick animals - don't worry the coins were cleaned first.
Best stick to dog food next time you're feeling hungry Charlie?
