Brazil has been named as the host of the Women's World Cup in 2027.
It beat a joint bid to host the competition from Belgium, Netherlands and Germany (BNG).
It will be the first time that a South American country will host the Women's World Cup.
Gianni Infantino who is the president of Fifa - the people in charge of world football - said "we will have the best World Cup in Brazil".
The announcement was made at Fifa's big yearly meeting, which this time was held in Bangkok in Thailand on Friday.
Both Brazil and the joint BNG bid from Europe met the requirements to host the tournament - which looks at stadiums, accommodation, fan zones and transport.
But the South American country was chosen having won a vote 119 to 78.
The United States and Mexico had entered a joint bid to host too, but pulled out in April to focus on bidding for the next tournament in 2031.
Brazil has already hosted the men's competition twice, in both 1950 and 2014.
The Women's World Cup 2027 will follow the same 32 team format that was used in the 2023 edition of the competition in Australia and New Zealand.
Spain were crowned champions that year, as they beat England 1-0 in the final.
It was the first time the women's Spanish side had lifted the World Cup.
