If you like wildlife and you like comedy, then we are pretty sure you will love this one.

A ten-year-old boy has won a prize at the Nikon Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards.

Flynn Thaitanunde-Lobb picked up the award for Best Portfolio for his pictures of a Rock Star Squirrel.

His win made him the youngest-ever category winner!

He said: "It feels amazing, because I know it is a really big competition and it is international and I'm going against adults and just to be the youngest person there and win it, is just an honour."

How did Flynn get started?

Flynn says he and his family have always had an interest in nature, but he got into photography when he got his first camera aged five.

He feeds the squirrels in his garden every day, that's how he spotted one of them channelling their inner rock star.

The pictures that made the portfolio weren't the first ones he'd taken of the little furry creatures, but surely will now be some of his most memorable.

He explained that he seized the moment, "I had my camera next to me and when I saw it, I just held the button down".

What advice would he give to budding photographers?

Flynn's advice for people wanting to get their paws on some quality nature pictures like his is pretty simple.

He says you need to be patient and "don't get disappointed" if the pictures don't quite come out the way you wanted.

He said: "You don't need a special big fancy camera to get a good photo."

More images were submitted for the awards than ever before and if claiming a title with that level of competition wasn't enough, Flynn also got a rather impressive trophy.
