Descendants 4: Latest film released with tribute to actor Cameron Boyce

The latest Descendants film, The Rise of Red has just been released on Disney+, five years after the last film.
The Descendants films are all about the children of famous Disney heroes and villains.
The fourth in the series, Descendants: The Rise of Red follows the story of Red, the daughter of Alice in Wonderland’s Queen of Hearts.
It also contains an tribute to Descendants star Cameron Boyce, who died in 2019.

What's Descendants: The Rise of Red about?
The plot of The Rise of Red revolves around Red, daughter of the Queen of Hearts and Chloe, daughter of Cinderella as they team up to save the school, Auradon Prep.
Uma, daughter of Ursula from the Little Mermaid is now Auradon's Prep's new head teacher.
But when she invites Red to join the school, the Queen of Hearts takes her opportunity to try and take over the school for herself.
Red and Chloe must then travel back in time to find out what happened to Red's mum, that made her an evil villain.
Who is in Descendants: Rise of Red?
Red is played by actor, singer and TikTok star Kylie Cantrall.
Pop star and Masked Singer judge Rita Ora stars as Red's mum, the Queen of Hearts.
The film is the first Descendants film without Cameron Boyce who played Cruella de Vil's son, Carlos in the franchise.
He died in 2019, but the film contains a tribute to the actor from Uma, played by China Anne McClain.
One of the few characters from the earlier films, Uma, looks up at framed portrait of Boyce as Carlos and speaks of honouring him in an emotional tribute.
