'Stop feeding the ducks', 'Cyclists dismount', 'No running' - all very normal signs you spot around a town.

But, in Chelmsford some more... unusual signs have been popping up over the last 18 months.

Some of these signs include messages like "rowing allowed" on a pedestrian underpass or offering flippers on rainy days.

The one above, saying: Tall Buses, If you see a tall bus approaching this bridge please shout "DUCK!" appeared on a bridge after a bus got stuck under it recently.

Whilst the signs may be quite funny, the council is urging the prankster who is putting these signs up to stop, saying they could "mislead residents and cause confusion".
