Wiegman 'very happy' with England squad for Euro 2025

England manager Sarina Wiegman has announced the players she has chosen to play at Euro 2025, as the Lionesses defend their 2022 title.
The team heading to Switzerland boasts a string of experienced players including Lucy Bronze, Keira Walsh and captain Leah Williamson.
Chelsea star Lauren James, who was a stand-out player during the 2023 World Cup, will also be part of the 23-player squad, despite suffering an injury in April.
Wiegman says she doesn't feel she is "taking a risk" by including James and she hopes the forward will be available for their first game against France on 5 July.
Brighton's Michelle Agyemang, who is just 19-year-old, will make her first appearance at a major tournament alongside other first-timers Maya Le Tissier from Manchester United and Chelsea star Aggie Beever-Jones.
The Lionesses will be heading into the tournament as joint favourites alongside World Champions Spain.
What do you think of the squad? Happy with the players who were picked? Let us know in the comments.

Weigman said Agyemang could be a wildcard and "can bring something different" to the squad
It has arguably been a tricky couple of weeks for Sarina Wiegman after three big-name players from the 2022 winning-squad said they won't be available for selection.
Goalkeeper Mary Earps and forward Fran Kirby both announced their retirement from international football last week, whilst Chelsea star Millie Bright also made herself unavailable for selection, saying she is won't be able to "give 100% mentally or physically" after an exhausting season.
Weigman said she was "sad" the three senior players will not be part of the team but that "it gives others an opportunity" to gain valuable experience on the big stage.
She added that she was "very happy" with her selection and did not see the three missing players "as a crisis at all".
England's first match will be against France on Saturday, 5 July.
