There have been celebrations across the nation following the Lionesses' dramatic win against Spain in the Euro 2025 final on Sunday.

The reaction in the stadium and at home has been overwhelming, as England bring home the Women's Euro trophy for the second time in a row.

How have some famous faces responded to the win? Here's a round-up of some of the reactions so far...

King Charles III

message from king charles iii shared on social media which reads "This brings you, your manager and all your support team my most heartfelt congratulations on winning the EUROS 2025.

For more years than I care to remember, England fans have sung that famous chant "football's coming home". As you return home with the trophy you won at Wembley three years ago, it is a source of great pride that, through sporting skill and awesome teamwork, the Lionesses have made those words ring true. For this, you have my whole family's warmest appreciation and admiration.

More than that, though, you have shown through your example over past weeks that there are no setbacks so tough that defeat cannot be transformed into victory, even as the final whistle looms.

Well done, Lionesses. The next task is to bring home the World Cup in 2027 if you possibly can!"Image source, @RoyalFamily/X

"I hope it will push the women's game even more. The level went up again. The intensity of the games went through the roof. I just think this tournament broke every record again with spectators and the television views.

I hope that will boost the women's game everywhere and not only in England. I don't know what to expect now in England. I think it will just boost again."
