What is AI?
AI is the term used to describe technology that is able to learn how to mimic - or copy - human decision-making. AI stands for Artificial Intelligence.
AI uses data - that's information - that is either available from the internet, or is entered into the computer by a human.
AI takes all the information, gobbles it up, and produces something such as an answer to a question, or an image.
AI is already used in lots of different ways in technology. Over the past few years, developments like ChatGPT or OpenAI have meant more people have had access to the technology.
Create your own emoji
Apple Intelligence's emojis, called 'GenMoji' will be able to be shared as a sticker or added to messages.
The emoji will be created with text prompts like "t-rex wearing a tutu on a surfboard."
Although it wasn't part of Apple's official announcement, tech experts expect the feature will have some restrictions to avoid AI created emojis that are mean or offensive.
