'Playing against my son will be greatest moment of my career'

Could you take on and beat your parents in a sporting contest?

That's what what 18-year-old Tyler Young will hope to do later when his side, Peterborough, plays Everton - the team his dad Ashley Young plays for - in the FA Cup third round.

Young senior, who won the Premier League trophy with Manchester United earlier in his career, says facing his son in a competitive match will top anything he's ever achieved in the game.

Let us know if you've ever faced your parents at anything in the comments below.

Speaking to the BBC, Tyler agreed it will be the biggest moment for his dad: "Well, it probably is the biggest moment in his career, because I'm quite a special person to him."

Speaking together ahead of the match, his dad, 39-year-old Ashley said: "If anyone said to me, from when I was a youngster, obviously, the career I've had, it's not been too bad, the trophies I've won, but to be able to hopefully get the chance to play against my son, I think just eclipses all that."

Asked about the prospect of facing each other on the pitch, Tyler says the competitiveness between father and son will be there to see.

"We're very competitive - so now I can show that I'm actually beating him all the time."
