The winners of the world's largest global competition for panoramic photography have been announced, and the prize-winning pics are sure to leave you wide-eyed!
The Epson International Pano Awards sees professional and amateur panoramic photographers from around the world compete in a series of categories.
From jaw-dropping nature shots, to picturesque natural landscapes and mind-bending cityscapes, there's something for everyone.

Who was crowned Photographer of the Year?

Last Fireworks by Alex Wides
Italian fine-art landscape photographer Alessandro Cantarelli, known as Alex Wides, won the top prize.
He took the panorama above in the Algerian desert, and called it " Last Fireworks".
It also won him the prize in the Natural Landscape category.

The Smiling Assassin by Matthew Smith
Animal lovers - you're in for a treat!
This smiley seal, and the whopping whale below were also highly commended in the Nature and Landscape category.

And how about this picture, which looks a bit like a snow monster!
It was taken by American photographer Nickolas Warner in frosty Japan.

From the snowy slopes to the big-city, the mesmerising picture below won the Built Environment / Architecture prize.
It was taken by Russian photographer Vitaly Golovatyuk, and shows Hong Kong from the peak of Mount Victoria.

Who won Amateur Photographer of the Year?

Frozen by Kevin Nyun
American hobbyist photographer Kevin Nyun won this prize.
He took the above photograph in the Cascade Volcanic Range of the Pacific Northwest, USA.

The Altiplano Landscape by Kevin Nyun
Kevin also won the amateur natural landscape award, too!
The spectacular pic above was taken in Bolivia, while he was trekking there.

This picture of a drooling hyena in Kenya came a close 4th.
