International Cat Day 2024: What makes your cat so purr-fect?
- Published
We bet your cats have quite the 'purr-sonality' and we want to hear all about them!
It's International Cat Day on 8 August and the theme for 2024 is 'celebrating cats', so there's no better time to give your kitty a round of 'ap-paws'.
The theme is all about 'feline' lucky to have cats around us and how they bring a little bit more joy to our lives.
We want to hear what makes your cat so special - maybe they cheer you up when you're feeling sad or maybe you've taught them some cool tricks?
Don't 'fur-get' to get involved in the comments below.

Organisers behind the day want to encourage anyone who likes cats to take a moment to "celebrate the species and the unique bonds we share with them".
“With an estimated 600 million cats worldwide, both owned and unowned, the theme ‘Celebrating Cats’ invites cat advocates to come together and share their love for cats – fostering a sense of community and shared passion for championing their welfare.”
