Hampshire bowler David Balcombe grateful for Kent chance

Hampshire bowler David Balcombe has thanked Kent for giving him the opportunity to play for them on loan last season.
The 26-year-old enjoyed a hugely successful period at the St Lawrence Ground, taking 33 wickets in five County Championship matches.
"It gave me the perfect platform to go out there with no pressure and nothing to lose," he told BBC Radio Solent, external.
"I can't thank them enough, they put a lot of trust in me."
He continued: "The senior guys there like Rob Key and Geraint Jones were brilliant and hopefully that period has kick-started my career now.
"I took five wickets in my first game and it just snowballed from there.
"It gave me my self belief back, I always knew that I'd be playing and it made me trust in my own ability."

The paceman is now looking to prove his worth at the Division Two side.
"I really want to lead the attack for Hampshire over these next three years," he added.
"The first half of last season was very challenging so to now be hopefully on the starting sheet is great."
