Glamorgan v Northants: Stewart Walters eases hosts to draw

Stewart Walters fell just short of a century as Glamorgan batted throughout the final day to draw with Northants.

A draw always looked the most likely result at Cardiff as Glamorgan resumed the final morning on 10-0 in reply to the visitors' 432-8.

And so it proved as Walters led the hosts' quest for batting points before being bowled by Andrew Hall for 98.

Marcus North also hit 57 and Jim Allenby 46 not out before the teams shook hands with Glamorgan on 302-5.
