Hampshire 198-2 (20 ovs) beat Middlesex 151-9 (20 ovs) by 47 runs |
Hampshire captain James Vince hit 68 from 38 balls before Middlesex managed just 151-9 in reply to lose by 47 runs.
Vince was ably supported by Jimmy Adams and Adam Wheater, then new recruit Owais Shah pushed them to 198-2 by hitting 49 from just 26 deliveries.
The hosts started well in reply as Paul Stirling's quickfire 40 helped them to 57-0 from the first five overs.
But Danny Briggs' (3-20) spin ensured Middlesex collapsed to a fourth T20 Blast defeat from four group matches.
Hampshire have now won two and lost one to sit top of the South Group.
Vince has accumulated an impressive 158 runs in those games at a strike-rate of 154.90.
