Middlesex ended their long wait for a win in the T20 Blast, beating Somerset by eight wickets at The Oval.
Somerset posted 152-4 after winning the toss and electing to bat, with Craig Kieswetter scoring 74 from 59 balls.
Middlesex struggled early in their reply, losing Dawid Malan for a first-ball duck in the first over.
But an unbeaten third-wicket stand of 128 between Joe Denly (98 not out) and debutant Ryan Higgins (44 not out) saw Middlesex home with 17 balls to spare.
Denly's superb 60-ball innings contained 10 fours and four sixes.
Victory was Middlesex's first in the group stage of this year's T20 Blast - at the seventh attempt.
They were playing a home match at Surrey's Oval home for only the second time in T20 cricket, as Lord's is only available for three floodlit county matches this season.
