Hampshire 173-9 beat Kent 126 (18.4 overs) by 47 runs

Hampshire climbed back up to second place in T20 Blast South Group as they bounced back from last week's thrashing by Surrey to beat Kent by 47 runs.

Sean Ervine top scored with 47, backed by Will Smith's 37, as Hampshire hoisted a total of 173-9.

Left-arm paceman Chris Wood then took 4-24, his best figures in five seasons of Twenty20 cricket, as Kent were bowled out for 126.

Alex Blake (26) was the home side's top scorer at a floodlit Canterbury.
