Ireland's tour match against a New Zealand XI was abandoned on Saturday without a ball being bowled because of persistent rain in Hamilton.
The poor weather left umpires Tim Parlane and Derek Walker with no option but to call the game off.
Ireland now move to Christchurch, with their next World Cup warm-up game against Canterbury on Tuesday.
The Irish were beaten by Northern Districts on Thursday in the first of four tour matches in New Zealand.
They lost by three-wickets at Seddon Park, with Kevin O'Brien top-scoring with 45 for the tourists while George Dockrell took four wickets.
Ireland face Canterbury at the Bert Sutcliffe Oval before finishing their tour against Otago at the same venue on Thursday.
The tour started in Australia with two defeats by Queensland Bulls, followed by two victories over ACT Comets.
