GB teen Toulson wins diving gold

Great Britain's Lois Toulson has won gold in the women's 10m platform at the European Games in Baku, Azerbaijan.

The 15-year-old from Leeds scored 456.70 to finish ahead of Russia's Anna Chuinyshena (429.15) and German Elena Wassen (410.40), both 14 years old, with fellow Briton Shanice Lobb fourth.

Earlier, in the men's 1m springboard, James Heatly won bronze for Team GB.

The 18-year-old scored 483.40 to finish behind Ilia Molchanov (512.20) and Nikita Shleikher of Russia (543.80).

Meanwhile, Britain's Lutalo Muhammad won bronze in the men's -80kg taekwondo, defeating Italian Roberto Botta 12-7 after coming through the repechage.

British-born fighter Aaron Cook, who now competes for Moldova, was knocked out of the quarter-finals following an 8-7 defeat to Portugal's Julio Ferreira.

The aquatic events at the European Games are for juniors only, and double up as the European Junior Championships.
