Brentford have signed former Crewe Alexandra striker Clayton Donaldson on a free transfer.
In three years with the Alex, the 27-year-old scored 49 times in 134 appearances and he was the 27-goal top scorer in League Two last season.
Bees manager Uwe Rosler said Donaldson had been his number one target since he took over at Griffin Park.
"Clayton will give us movement, speed and directness and he is a good finisher," said Rosler.
Donaldson came through the ranks at Hull City before moving to York City in 2005.
He then played for Hibernian in the Scottish Premier League before moving to Crewe in 2008.
Rosler, who took over as Brentford manager on 10 June, external, has also signed experienced midfielder Jonathan Douglas from Swindon, full-back Shaleum Logan from Manchester City and defender Marcel Eger from St Pauli.
