Fulham have confirmed the signing of Switzerland Under-21 international Pajtim Kasami on a four-year deal for an undisclosed fee.
Kasami, 19, who was born in Macedonia, joins from Serie A side Palermo, where he made 24 appearances last season.
The midfielder was part of the Swiss team that reached the final of last month's European Under-21 Championship.
"Pajtim is a young, talented midfielder who has potential," said Fulham manager Martin Jol.
"He is a versatile midfield player who can adapt quite easily to more than one position.
"He is a key player in the Swiss Under-21 team. I am delighted to have been able to add two talented young players to my squad with the signing of him and Marcel Gecov last week, external, as I believe that they are going to be good additions to the squad, both in the short and long term future."
Kasami played youth football with Winterthur, Grasshopper Zurich, Liverpool and Lazio, before making his first senior appearances back in his homeland with Bellinzona in 2010.
He joined Palermo on a five-year contract last summer, having made his Under-21 debut earlier that year. He also played for his country in the Under-17 World Cup in 2009.
