"Anton is a top quality performer with proven pedigree at League One level," Clark told the club website, external.
"I think his ability was plain for all to see in our four clashes with Bournemouth last season and his acquisition is a real coup for the club."
Robinson, who had a year remaining on his Cherries contract, started his career in the Millwall academy, but failed to make a first-team appearance and proceeded to ply his trade in the non-league.
Huddersfield chairman Dean Hoyle added: "Lee identified Anton as an important target and we are delighted that this transfer has come to fruition after a lot of hard work from everyone at the club.
"Bournemouth were understandably reluctant to let Anton leave, but we persisted."
