MK Dons have completed the signing of Norwich City midfielder Anthony McNamee on a free transfer.

The 28-year-old left-sided player, who made 35 appearances during 18 months at Norwich, has joined on a one-year deal with an option for a further 12 months.

Sheffield Wednesday defender Mark Beevers has also joined the Dons in a loan deal until 31 December.

The 21-year-old's two appearances this season have come in the Carling Cup and Johnstone's Paint Trophy.

Since progressing through the Owls youth ranks and making his debut in January 2007, Beevers has played 145 games, scoring four goals.

He featured 29 times in League One last season, including a 4-1 win over the Dons at Stadium MK.
