O'Kane, who joined Torquay , externalin January 2010 from Coleraine, has agreed a new deal which will keep him at the club until 2014.

The 21-year-old recently switched from playing for Northern Ireland to the Republic of Ireland.

O'Kane was released by Everton after being part of their youth set-up.
