Leyton Orient extend Ben Alnwick loan from Tottenham

Alnwick started his career with Sunderland

Leyton Orient have extended the loan of Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Ben Alnwick for a further two months.

The deal extends the 24-year-old's stay at Brisbane Road to the maximum 93 days allowed for emergency loans.

Alnwick, who will return to White Hart Lane on 11 December, joined the O's last month and played three games before suffering a groin injury.

He is hoping to recover in time to be involved in Saturday's League One clash with Bury.
