Marlon Harewood back training with Nottingham Forest

Harewood scored five goals in 16 games for Blackpool

Nottingham Forest have taken their ex-striker Marlon Harewood on trial.

Harewood, 32, was released by Blackpool in the summer but becomes a free agent again next month following a brief spell in Chinese football.

Cotterill told the club's official website: "We've invited him to train with us which will allow us to have a good look at him."

Forest youth-team product Harewood scored 51 league goals in 126 starts before joining West Ham in 2003.
