Craig Clay in frame for Alfreton Town debut

Clay has not started a game for Chesterfield this season

Alfreton Town could have new signing Craig Clay in their side for Tuesday's Blue Square Bet Premier away game against fellow strugglers Bath City.

The 19-year-old has joined on loan from League One side Chesterfield and will stay at the Impact Arena until 3 March.

Spireites youth-team product Clay has made six appearances this season, all of them as a substitute.

Clay has played four games in the league and one game in both the FA Cup and Carling Cup.
