Oxford United defender Michael Duberry to have surgery
- Published
Oxford United defender Michael Duberry is to have neck surgery next week after two injections failed to cure a prolapsed disc.
Duberry, 36, played 37 times for the U's last season but will miss the start of the new campaign through injury.
Manager Chris Wilder recently signed Michael Raynes and he could now partner Jake Wright in the central defence.
Meanwhile, the U's are expected to complete the loan signing of Manchester United defender Sean McGinty on Friday.
