Bristol City's Yannick Bolasie submits transfer request

Bristol City winger Yannick Bolasie has submitted a written transfer request, the Championship club have confirmed.

The former Plymouth Argyle player says he wants to move closer to London but the club say the 23-year-old will not be sold on the cheap.

"We do not wish to have players at the club who do not want to be here or who are not committed to the cause," said Bristol City manager Derek McInnes.

"However, we will only sell a player if another club meets our valuation."
