Paddy Madden's brace helped Yeovil end a six-game losing streak with an emphatic victory against Colchester.

Madden, making his debut following a one-month loan move from Carlisle, opened the scoring when Mark Cousins spilled James Hayter's shot.

Jabo Ibehre tucked in his third goal in three games to level, but Madden then fired in right-footed shot.

Korey Smith and Brian Wilson struck the bar before Hayter converted Jamie McAllister's cross to seal the victory.

No compaints about U's loss - Dunne

"If you look at the goals, they're individual mistakes and you can't legislate for them.

"I wanted to play a certain way, I thought we certainly showed progression in the first half. If they're going to make mistakes trying to play that way sometimes you are going to get punished.

"I want them to still be brave, I'm not changing, and we have to learn, which is what we will do."

"In the second half they were far better and created more chances but I have no real complaints about losing."
