Australian midfielder Tom Rogic has been granted a work permit following his move to Celtic.
The 20-year-old joined from Central Coast Mariners, with the fee reported to be about £400,000.
Rogic had been on trial with Neil Lennon's side and attended their recent training camp in Marbella.
Celtic manager Neil Lennon said he was delighted to sign a "very talented young player".
"The highly-rated youngster will now return to Australia to complete some final paperwork before returning to Glasgow and getting his Hoops career under way," the club said in a statement.
Rogic has signed a four-and-a-half-year deal with the SPL leaders.
