Luton Town have signed striker Mark Cullen on a two-year deal following his release by Hull City.

The 21-year-old scored four goals in 16 games this season while on loan at Stockport County, who were relegated from the Conference Premier.

"I've been aware of Mark since he's been at Hull under Peter Taylor, who thought a lot of the boy," Hatters boss John Still told the club website., external

"He was at Stockport last year and I thought he was outstanding against us."

He added: "I made a lot of calls to try and get him here and hand on heart I didn't think he would come down to Conference level.

"But Mark's got good ability, he can score, his movement's clever and I think he's going to develop into a really good player."

Luton have also handed a new one-year contract to veteran keeper Mark Tyler.

"I didn't want to go anywhere else. This is a great club and the supporters are fantastic," he said.
