David Bell signs for Notts County on a free transfer

Notts County have signed midfielder David Bell on a free transfer following his departure from Coventry City.

The 29-year-old, who also played for Luton Town and Norwich City, left the Sky Blues by mutual consent.

In his three-and-a-half years at the Ricoh Arena, Bell made 98 appearances and scored six goals.

Bell is the Magpies' fourth summer signing after the arrivals of ex-Charlton striker Danny Haynes, Mustapha Dumbuya and Andy Howarth.
