Godfrey Poku: Alfreton sign Mansfield midfielder on loan

Alfreton Town have signed midfielder Godfrey Poku on loan from League Two strugglers Mansfield Town.

The 23-year-old spent last season on a season-long loan at Southport and made 32 appearances.

Poku began his career with Luton and then had his first loan spell with Southport in August 2011, before a move to Mansfield in the summer of 2012.

He has played five times this season, with his last appearance coming in a home defeat by Morecambe in November.

Alfreton, who are currently third in the Conference Premier ahead of Saturday's trip to Barnet, have also extended the loan of Luton defender Lathaniel Rowe-Turner until 30 January.
