Middlesbrough have signed Lee Tomlin from Peterborough United permanently, three weeks after he joined on loan.
Boro have paid an undisclosed fee for the 25-year-old forward, who has agreed a three-and-a-half-year deal, ending a four-season spell at London Road.
Tomlin is yet to feature for the Championship side because of a three-match suspension triggered by a sending off in his final Posh appearance.
He could make his Middlesbrough debut in Saturday's game against Leeds.
