Brazilian playmaker Kaka scored twice as AC Milan recorded a second successive Serie A win with a comfortable defeat of Chievo.

Former Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli opened the scoring with a volley before Kaka, making his 300th appearance for Milan, took over.

The 31-year-old finished one-on-one midway through the first half after latching onto Keisuke Honda's pass.

And the ex-Real Madrid player sealed the win with a fine, curled finish.

Cyril Thereau missed an injury-time penalty for Chievo as Milan extended their unbeaten run to three games to move up to ninth, level with Lazio on 42 points.

Kaka, who left the field to a standing ovation, recently suggested he would be keen to move to the United States should he leave Milan.
