Michael Morrison: Charlton defender signs new contract

Charlton Athletic defender Michael Morrison has signed a new two-year contract with the Championship club.
The 26-year-old centre-back, who made 51 appearances for Addicks last season, will remain at The Valley until the summer of 2016.
"It's taken a long time but the club have always said they want to keep me," Morrison told the club website., external
"I really wanted to stay and go into a new era which I think is going to be successful."
The former Cambridge United, Leicester City and Sheffield Wednesday man joined Charlton in summer 2011., external
In total he has made 146 appearances for the south east London club.
