Former Scotland international Chris Iwelumo has joined Conference Premier side Chester on a one-year deal.
The 35-year-old striker was released by Scottish Cup winners St Johnstone at the end of last season.
Iwelumo, capped four times by his country, has scored more than 100 goals in over 500 professional appearances.
"Chester is a big club and I just want to get going in pre-season," said Iwelumo, whose previous clubs include Stoke, Wolves, Burnley and Watford.
Manager Steve Burr added: "Chris will be a big addition to the squad and like the rest of the lads we've got together, he can't wait to get started.
"He's experienced, big and strong and he will be a real handful to play against.
"When we found out he was available, we had a chat. As soon as he came to the stadium and saw the training facilities we have and listened to our plans he wanted to be part of that.
"He will add some great experience to what is quite a young squad we are working with."
