Everton full-back Tony Hibbert has signed a new two-year contract.

The 33-year-old youth product, who was given a testimonial in 2010, was out of contract but is now tied to Goodison Park until the summer of 2016.

He has made 318 senior appearances since his debut in March 2001.

However, he has suffered from injury problems for the last two seasons and made only one Premier League appearance last term as an 88th-minute substitute against Aston Villa in February.
