Callum Paterson has signed a new three-year deal with Hearts.

The versatile 19-year-old has been a first team regular at Tynecastle over the last two seasons and has scored 15 goals for the Edinburgh club.

A Scotland U21 international, Paterson has been utilised as a centre forward and in midfield but his preferred position is right-back.

He made his league debut in August 2012 and had a year of his previous contract to run.

Meanwhile, Hearts have announced that their season ticket sales have topped 11,000 as they prepare for the new season in the Championship.
