Callum Robinson: Aston Villa striker extends Preston loan spell

Robinson recently played for the England U20 side against the Netherlands

Preston North End have extended the loan deal with Aston Villa striker Callum Robinson until 3 January.

The 19-year-old initially joined on a one-month loan and has made four substitute appearances so far.

Robinson, an England Under-20 international, made five substitute appearances for Villa last season.

"There's a lot of games coming up over the next few weeks and he's going to get plenty of game time," Preston boss Simon Grayson told the club website.

"Aston Villa are really pleased that he has come to us and is doing well and helping us out and vice versa."
